Chef Bio - Chef Kevin Chung developed his love for food at the young age of 15. His passion and skill flourished when he opened his first restaurant in 2007 in the Magnolia neighborhood of Seattle, Washington. With years of culinary and entrepreneurial experience under his belt, Chung set his sights on the American hamburger. His affinity for America’s comfort food, naturally lead him across the country, taste-testing what was considered the best. He quickly recognized where he could redefine this space and started honing his technique for creating the perfect burger. In 2011, 8oz Burger & Co. was born. There, in the comforts of his kitchen, Chung creates culinary experiences, drawing inspiration from life growing up in the Pacific Northwest.
