8oz. Burger Bar is the brainchild of celebrity chef Govind Armstrong who created an ingredient-driven, upscale burger concept in Los Angeles. 8oz. Burger Bar Seattle is owned and operated by life-long Seattle resident and talented restaurateur/chef, Kevin Chung, who has partnered with Govind to bring his unique style of cooking paired with Kevin’s knowledge of northwest products and local cuisine to Seattle. The outcome is a fusion of flavors combining California and northwest inspired dishes, accented by fresh, local and organic ingredients. 8oz. Burger Bar Seattle shares the same vision of bringing an enhanced level of casual dining with quality local products, to the approachable neighborhood tavern environment.

Set in a comfortable modern, rustic space in Seattle’s bustling Capitol Hill neighborhood, 8oz. Burger Bar Seattle prides itself on serving locally sourced, ingredient-driven comfort food, inspired by American tavern classics. Our menu is made up of compelling burger profiles, comforting sandwiches, small plates, salads and house-made desserts. With hefty 8oz. patties made from a plethora of options including northwest grass fed beef, wild boar, kobe beef and lamb, to fish, free range turkey and house made veggie burgers, there is something crave-worthy for all.

Local menu highlights include brioche buns from Grateful Bread Bakery, Essential Bakery, Beecher’s Cheese, Hempler’s Bacon, Bluebird Ice Cream, local liquors, northwest wine and beer, including our custom 8oz. Lager by Emerald City Beer Company.

Everything is made fresh and in-house. Our full bar includes 14 local and international beers on tap showcased in our display keg cooler and we feature over 40 varieties of whiskey, rye, bourbon and

scotch. Our adult shakes and floats offer a cold, creamy treat to compliment standard bar options.
